A scenic route taking you from the west, to the east coast of the UAE – The new WINTER EDITION 100-miler (165km)

Please see our dedicated event website here: CLICK HERE

This unique, non-competitive cycle challenge dating back to 2005, takes you east from the coastal Sharjah lagoons, through the stunning Hajar Mountains across to the east coast to the finish in Khorfakkan and by bus on to your final destination, Le Meridien Al Aqah – the route stretches 100 miles (165km) with approx 1200m of elevation along smooth tarmac roads, winding through dunes, over mountain climbs and along the beautiful east coast to the finish where you can enjoy the fine sandy beaches of Fujairah. (We are still working on the approvals for the short ride into Fujairah, however, until this is received, the ride will finish as per 2023 Spring edition at the Khorfakkan viewpoint and all riders will be transported with their bike to the hotel).

1. THE C2C RIDE ONLY: Your entry fee includes a fully supported ride, a 5-star BBQ, Bandana and Medal. (Enter BOTH Winter and Spring editions and you will receive a limited edition Urban-Ultra Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge Cycle Jersey. You must commit to both editions before Winter edition registration closes).
2. THE C2C RIDE WITH RETURN TRANSPORT: You can also buy the ride with all the above including a return bus and transport for your bike – see registration site STORE.
3. FRIENDS & FAMILY: Additional BBQ tickets for friends and family can be purchased only up to the registration closing date. These tickets are NOT available on the day. Buy additional tickets along with your ride option from the registration site STORE.

This ride will undoubtedly be a challenge and a wonderful day out on the roads of the UAE. Please note that you will need a certain level of fitness to take part due to the distance and the amount of climbing and bike handling skills for the steep descents.
Please ensure you have trained adequately so that you are able to participate safely and within your limits. There will be a number of rides, organised locally, which you will be expected to join (international participants must state rides they have completed recently in preparation), in order to prepare you for the long distance and of course the climbs.
As it is a real privilege to be able to use these roads, we ask all cyclists to adhere to traffic rules and to respect other road users. It is also important to emphasise again that this ride is a cycle challenge and not a race. By participating, you agree to ride within the parameters defined by the organisers and under the guidance of the ride captain assigned to your group.
To maintain the maximum level of safety, riders will be organised into pods before the event, each with their own Ride Captains and support vehicles. You are kindly requested to stay with this rider pod and remain together for the duration of the ride.
