Yesterday, as we filed out of the tent and on to the beach in Mamzar, Dubai to participate in the FINA World Cup 10k Openwater swimming event, I realized not only were we totally out of our depth, but that we were in the presence of champions, the superstars of the swimming world - in more ways than one.
